Refund policy

Our 30-day trial

Try your radio at home. If it is not for you, tell us within 30 days of the day it arrives and send it back for a refund. You do not need to give a reason. Switching it on, charging it and listening to it is what the trial is for. Please send it back with everything that came in the box. If an item comes back damaged, or with more wear than trying it would cause, we may reduce the refund to reflect that.

That is the standard we hold ourselves to. The sections below are the detail.

Your legal right to cancel

If you live in the UK or the EU, you also have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive it, without giving a reason. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. If your order arrives in more than one parcel, the 14 days start when the last parcel arrives. Our 30-day trial is in addition to this right and does not replace it.

How to cancel or return

Email salam@tdbr.store with your order number, or send us the cancellation form below. Customers in the EU can also use the "Withdraw from your contract" link at the bottom of every page. We will confirm by email and send you the return address in Manchester. Please do not send anything back before contacting us, as unannounced parcels are much harder for us to match to an order.

You pay the cost of return postage for a cancellation or a trial return. We recommend a tracked service, because the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. If you are returning from outside the UK, mark the customs form "Returned goods" with your order number. Any charges made on the parcel when it arrives in the UK are part of the cost of returning it and are taken off your refund.

Refunds

• Cancelled within 14 days of delivery: we refund the price of the items, our standard delivery charge and any duties and taxes you paid at checkout. If you chose a faster delivery option, we refund the cost of standard delivery.
• Trial return from day 15 to day 30: we refund the price of the items. Delivery, duties and taxes are not refunded, because they have already been paid to the carrier and the customs authority on your behalf.

We refund within 14 days of receiving the items back, or of you showing us proof that you sent them, whichever is sooner. Refunds go to the payment method you used at checkout. If a refund has not appeared within 14 days of us confirming it, contact your bank first, then us, and we will chase it.

Pre-orders

You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched for a full refund, including delivery and any duties and taxes paid at checkout. Once it is delivered, the 30-day trial and your 14-day right to cancel apply as normal.

Custom Reciters

Custom Reciters are prepared to your request, so they cannot be cancelled or returned for a change of mind once we have started preparing your files. A radio in the same order is still covered by the 30-day trial and your 14-day right to cancel.

Faulty or damaged items

Every radio has a 12-month warranty from delivery, covering the radio and its battery. If it develops a fault, we will repair, replace or refund it, and we cover the postage.

If anything arrives damaged or develops a fault, email salam@tdbr.store with your order number and a photo or video of the issue, and we will make it right. We cover the costs, including postage.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item is faulty you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and after that to a repair or replacement, with a refund if we cannot resolve the fault. Customers in the EU also have the legal guarantee of conformity for at least two years from delivery. Nothing in this policy limits your legal rights.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange is to return the item you have and place a new order once your refund is confirmed. If you would rather we handle it as a direct swap, ask us by email and we will arrange it where we can.
